Located right in the heart of Hollywood, the Bronson Caves have been featured in scores of TV shows and movies, from Batman, Bonanza, and The A-Team to The Searchers, It Conquered the World,, Robot Monster and (my personal favorite) Ross Hunter’s star-studded 1973 musical remake of Lost Horizon. In the 1950s, snobby New York actors, who came West to work in the movies, used to dismiss L.A. as just a cow town. They were wrong: it’s really a horse town.
